Tony Strickland was born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina.  At age 19, he moved to Greenville, where he worked at a slew of wildly different occupations.  From hairdresser to vintage clothing shop owner to landscaper to Christmas decorator, Tony enjoys seeing the smile that his creations bring.  He's been around, he's seen a lot, and he's brought the color and shape of his experiences to a new place.

Now he prefers working with river rock - rock that has tumbled to a smooth, serene color on its journey down the rivers and streams of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia - and uses it to make garden urns, planters, fireplaces, and anything else he dreams up.  Though Tony has worked with everything from music to broken vodka bottles, after years of spice and variety, it's really no surprise that his latest medium of choice is the very rock he seems to be imitating.
